en (adolescentes entre 12 e 18 anos) na Comunidade Osho Rachana. O enfoque do trabalho é uma amizade mais profunda, disponibilizando um espaço de autoconhecimento, criatividade e preenchimento. Haverá várias atividades conjuntas como cozinhar, caminhadas na natureza, massagens, jogos e também sessões com meditações e bioenergética. Sannyas.org is a well-known website, which is going through a big change now. It is being converted into a wiki allowing everybody to become an author and easily create new pages. The old big database of sannyasins will no longer be updated. Everything is moving to the wiki. This prompted us to ask Rudra for a small interview.

rs: Hi, Rudra! We are curious about sannyas.org. Please introduce yourself to our readers first. Where are you now physically? And how is your life going?

Rudra: Sannyas.org is located in Western Australia and has been going for more than 10 years now. In that time it has grown too big to be manageable by just one person. So the Wiki is the perfect vehicle to hand the whole thing over to the public. What happens from here on is out of my hands.

The nice thing about a wiki is that it's open ended. There are tens (or hundreds?) of thousands of sannyasins worldwide and a wiki can accommodate them quite easily.

Myself? i have no idea. I'm still a big kid that hasn't grown up. So i'll probably have to come back for a few more lifetimes ... we'll see ;)

rs: What is the story of the sannyas.org project? Why did you decide to create it?

Rudra: The last time i sat with Osho he said to me "go and help my people" - "hmmm, nice one Osho ;)" I thought at the time. I spent a few years running Rebirthing groups and sessions. But after eight years of doing that it was time to do something else... had a Zorba the Buddha disco for a few years... then computers... internet... sannyas.org. The rest, as they say, is history.

rs: You've started the WIKI part of the sannyas.org. I think it is a great idea! Do you think wiki is easy enough for people, who are not programmers?

Rudra: Yes and no. If you're happy with having a relatively simple page layout, wikis are easier to lay out than ordinary webpages. But to have a page with all the bells and whistles you still need to read to many instructions. The folks from WikiMedia are working on integrating a WYSIWIG (what you see is what you get) editor, but that is still a few months away.

My suggestion is to just go for it and play around with the wiki. You really can't break anything :)

rs: Do you have any other plans with sannyas.org?

Rudra: God no. The wiki is more than enough. It can become a platform for all sorts of things. Just have a look what they did with http://www.wikipedia.com/!

rs: Our traditional question: What is the meaning of "rebellious spirit" for you?

El presente es la única danza

La libertad es la meta de la vida. Sin libertad, la vida no tiene sentido. No me refiero a las libertades políticas, sociales o económicas. Con «Libertad» me refiero a la libertad del tiempo, de la mente, del deseo. En el momento en que deja de existir la mente, te hace uno con el universo, eres tan inmenso como el universo.

Es la mente lo que erige la barrera entre la realidad y tú, y debo a esa barrera te quedas aislado en una oscura celda donde jamás llega la luz y donde jamás entra la alegría. Vives en la desdicha porque no deberías vivir en un espacio tan pequeño, tan limitado. Tu ser desea extenderse hasta la fuente última de la existencia. Tu ser anhela el océano, y tú te has reducido a un agota de agua. ¿Cómo puedes ser feliz? ¿Cómo puedes ser dichoso? El ser humano vive en la desdicha porque vive prisionero.

Y Buda Gautama dice que tanha –el deseo- es la raíz de todas nuestras desdichas, porque el deseo crea la mente. El deseo significa crear el futuro, proyectarse en el futuro, traer el mañana. Trae el mañana y desaparece el día de hoy: ya no podrás verlo, porque el mañana te empañará los ojos. Trae el mañana y tendrás que llevar la carga de todos tus ayeres, porque el mañana solo puede existir si lo siguen alimentando los ayeres.

Todo deseo nace del pasado y todo deseo se proyecta en el futuro. Eso constituye la mente: el pasado y el futuro. Analiza la mente, examínala detenidamente, y solo encontrarás dos cosas: el pasado y el futuro. No encontrarás ni un ápice del presente, ni un solo átomo. Y el presente es la única realidad, la única existencia, la única danza.

Op 28 januari is in Amsterdam overleden Swami Anand Virendra F.H. Giebel, bestuurslid van de Stichting Vrienden van OSHO.

Op woensdag 4 februari om 11.45 uur bij De Nieuwe Ooster, Kruislaan 126 te Amsterdam wordt Virendra's lichaam gecremeerd. Zie voor routebeschrijving http://www.denieuweooster.nl/route.php.

Bij aanvang in de aula en ook na afloop is er gelegenheid om langs zijn kist te lopen. Onze lieve musici spelen muziek, dan komt er ruimte voor stilte en dan weer muziek bij het verlaten van de aula. In totaal hebben we 30 minuten. Er zullen geen toespraken zijn.Daarna worden er in de receptiezaal koffie en koekjes aangeboden en is er tijd (45 minuten) om met elkaar te praten. Pratito en Srajan hebben een mooie map gemaakt met een fantastisch mooi foto van Virendra op de kaft. Hierin kunnen foto's van Virendra worden toegevoegd, herinneringen met Virendra, verhalen, gedichten, en briefjes aan Virendra. Er is ruimte om je eigen verhaal enz. toe te voegen, je kunt het woensdag meenemen of mailen aan devaprerna@hotmail.com.

Er zijn ook plannen een feestje voor Virendra te houden tijdens een Hart dans (Sufi dans, Dances of Universal Peace) kring met Ageya, in de Valentine Peace Celebration in de Oude Kerk, op 14 februari, hartdag, tijdens de afsluiting rond 14.30 uur, zie
