Lo que yo digo es posible que siempre se malinterprete, porque yo no estoy hablando del ordinario mundo de las cosas y objetos. Me refiero al mundo interior de la consciencia y del ser. Hoy mismo ha llegado una carta de Alemania. Que nuestros sannyasins están haciendo una meditación llamada: Las Cuatro Direcciones. La carta dice: "En la Comuna su gente está haciendo una meditación llamada Las Cuatro Direcciones, y tenemos el derecho de autor de la misma."

Tuve que decirle a Neelam, a mi secretaria, hay que escribirles a ellos, "Las cosas pueden ser protegidas por derechos de autor, el pensamiento no puede ser protegido por derechos de autor y, desde luego, las meditaciones no pueden ser protegidas por derechos de autor. No son cosas del mercado". Nadie puede monopolizar nada. Pero tal vez el Occidente no puede comprender la diferencia entre uno de los objetivos básicos y de una experiencia interior.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ha protegido la meditación trascendental y justo debajo de un pequeño círculo se encuentra escrito TM -¡que significa la marca!

Durante diez mil años, el Oriente ha estado meditando y nadie ha puesto a las meditaciones marcas. Y sobre todo, que la meditación trascendental no es la meditación trascendental... es sólo una marca.

He tenido que decirle a Neelam para responderles a estas personas, "Ustedes no entienden lo que es la meditación. No es de nadie la pertenencia, la posesión. Ustedes no pueden tener ningún derecho de autor. Tal vez si su país le da las marcas y derechos de autor sobre cosas como la meditación, entonces será bueno tener un derecho de autor en estupidez. Que ayudará a todo el mundo para ser relevado... Solamente usted será el estúpido y nadie más puede ser estúpido, sino que será ilegal".

Voy a dirigir a mi gente de aquí que hacen la meditación llamada Las Cuatro Direcciones. Pero, hay ¡ocho direcciones no cuatro! Empezarán a hacer la meditación Ocho Direcciones -y, desde luego, en ocho direcciones, sus cuatro direcciones también entran en juego. Pero aparte de su estúpida carta y, estúpido gobierno que le da derechos de autor a tales experiencias interiores, la verdad es que la consciencia no puede ser cuatro direcciones u ocho direcciones. La consciencia es un círculo: no hay direcciones. No es ni la dirección al norte ni la dirección al sur. Simplemente es un círculo.

Por lo tanto, mi mejor sugerencia a ustedes es llamarla "No Direcciones".

Vamos a demandar a esos idiotas que creen que tienen derechos de autor sobre la consciencia, en los tribunales de Alemania.

Entonces podemos obtener un derecho de autor sobre la Iluminación. Entonces nadie puede ser iluminado, a menos que nosotros lo autoricemos a él.

Nobody can monopolize anything. But perhaps the West cannot understand the difference between an objective commodity and an inner experience.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has copyrighted transcendental meditation and just underneath in a small circle you will find written TM – that means trademark!

For ten thousand years the East has been meditating and nobody has put trademarks upon meditations. And above all, that transcendental meditation is neither transcendental nor meditation... just a trademark.

I have told Neelam to reply to these people, ”You don’t understand what meditation is. It is nobody’s belonging, possession. You cannot have any copyright. Perhaps if your country gives you trademarks and copyrights on things like meditation, then it will be good to have a copyright on stupidity. That will help the whole world to be relieved... Only you will be stupid and nobody else can be stupid; it will be illegal.”

I am going to direct my people here that they do the meditation called The Four Directions. But there are eight directions not four! Start doing the meditation Eight Directions –and certainly under eight directions, their four directions also come in.

But apart from their stupid letters and their stupid government which gives copyrights for such inner experiences, the truth is that consciousness cannot be either four directions or eight directions. Consciousness is a circle: no directions. It is neither directing to the north nor directing to the south. It simply is a circle. So my suggestion to you is that the best will be to call it ”No Directions.”

We are going to sue those idiots who think they have a copyright over consciousness, in the courts in Germany. Then we can get a copyright over enlightenment. Then nobody can become enlightened, unless we license him.

Meditación No-Mente
Gibberish significa: no digas cosas que tengan significado, no uses el idioma que conoces, usa chino si no sabes chino, usa japonés si no sabes japonés, no uses alemán si sabes aleman, por primera vez ten la libertad que tienen todos los pájaros, simplemente permite cualquier cosa que venga a tu mente sin preocuparte por su racionalidad, lógica, significado, sólo en la forma en que lo hacen los pájaros.

La primera parte es gibberish. La palabra gibberish viene de un místico Sufi, Jabbar. Jabbar no hablaba ningún lenguaje, solamente pronunciaba sonidos sin sentido. Igualmente, tuvo miles de discípulos porque lo que estaba diciendo era: Tu mente no es nada más que gibberish; déjala de lado y vas a sentir el sabor de tu propio ser… Usa el gibberish y vuélvete concientemente loco. Vúelvete loco con total y absoluta conciencia, para volverte el centro del ciclón. Deja que venga lo que sea, no te preocupes si es razonable o significativo, solamente tira toda la basura de tu mente y creá el espacio para que pueda aparecer el buda. En la segunda parte, se vá el ciclón y te lleva a vos también con él. El buda toma su lugar en absoluto silencio y quietud. Solamente observás el cuerpo, la mente y todo lo que pasa. En la tercera parte te digo: ¡Let-go! Entonces relajás tu cuerpo y lo dejás caer sin ningún esfuerzo, sin que lo controle la mente; simplemente se cae como una bolsa de arroz.

La vida es inexplicable
La vida, si estás vivo, es siempre inexplicable. Si estás realmente vivo hay algo tan misterioso que no puede ser explicado. Si puedes explicar tu vida, quiere decir simplemente que no estás vivo, que estás muerto. Si puedes encontrar a un hombre que pueda explicar su vida de punta a cabo lógicamente, puedes estar seguro de que es una computadora, una máquina, que no está vivo. Sólo las cosas que están muertas pueden ser explicadas de principio al fin. La vida es un misterio, por eso cuando uno está vivo es misterioso. Cuando te encuentras con una persona que está viva sentirás un misterio, un fenómeno inexplicable.
Te sentiras tocado por algo que no entiendes. No es posible hacer de la vida algo matemático, la vida permanece siendo intrínsecamente poética... Es algo hermoso de ver, pero no un hecho de explicar.
