Beloved Friends,

I remember it was the last week Of Nov 89. Me and Anando went to see Osho for work. Osho asked us " When I leave my body what we should write on my Samadhi" ? I was shocked to hear this and tears rolled down my cheeks. Looking at me Osho said, " I am not leaving it now. I am just talking about it". Anando suggested a couple of sayings. I suggested a Kabir"s saying in Hindi to which Osho replied, "It should be original and in English". Then he asked, " Which bedroom will be better for Samadhi, this one or Chuang Tzu ?'. Anando said, "Chuang Tzu. Nirvano has always felt that you are not making your bedroom but your Samadhi in Chuang Tzu". His next question was, "Do we have extra marble from Chuang Tzu floor?"."Yes, we have was our answer". After that we started talking about other subjects.

The next morning I came to know from Anando that Osho has already selected the marble piece, dictated the wording to be inscribed on it in gold letters. After few weeks, on Jan 19, 1990 Osho left his body.

Amrito, his personal physician announced in Buddha Hall that when asked Osho what we should do to his Samadhi?, Osho replied , " Just put my ashes in ChuangTzu under the bed. People can come and meditate there".

 

Respecting his wish the selected piece was inscribed and His Flowers ( bones & ashes) were put under the bed. A beautiful Samadhi is made for a beautiful master Osho, the Beloved one. It became the heart and soul of His commune. An energy field which has attracted seekers like a magnet. For all these years, people have been coming there to meditate. The place is so much charged with his energy that just to sit there in silence is in it self a meditation..

Osho has talked many a times about energy field In the book Beyond Psychology, He says

"Slowly, slowly in all the countries where spirituality has flowered, people became aware that something happens... So people have preserved things that were used by these people, or just have made memorials of their bodies. In India bodies are burned, but you will be surprised to know that the remains left after burning a body are called "flowers". Ordinary people's ashes are thrown into holy rivers, but enlightened people's "flowers" are preserved in samadhis -- in beautiful marble memorials. Just to go and sit there is in itself a meditation. But the trouble is that the world is ruled by those who know nothing of this."

 

It is painful to see how Osho Energyfield, His Samadhi is being destroyed, a step by step, systematically by Jayesh & Amrito. In year 99 they decided to have cathartic group therapies in the serene atmosphere of Samadhi. Many protested but they did not listen to. For the last so many years Osho sannyasins have been cleaning the Samadhi with love and care. This year they decided to have hired labourers to clean it. Again the protest was not listened to. They removed the marble plaque with golden inscription on it. His photo is removed & now they decided not to call it Samadhi any more. Again the worldwide protests are not listened to. Osholovers worldwide are hurt. They are angry. They are in pain. They want His Samadhi to be preserved with love and reverence, His residence where he has lived for many years. For them it is his Samadhi.

 

They know (Jayesh and Amrito) if it is no more called Samadhi, then LaoTzu house, his residence, where Samadhi is, becomes merely a building. It can be sold or purchased. It can be demolished to erect a new building. We will not let this happen. Osho's Samadhi does not belong to anybody, it's not anybody's private property-- it belongs to all the seekers in the world. Osho lovers are protesting about the following points:

(1) In a huge resort of 16 acres Osho Samadhi is chosen for cathartic group therapies, Why ?

 

(2) The hired labours are preferred to clean Osho Samadhi than his sannyasins Why ?

(3) The marble with golden inscription on it which Osho himself chose is removed, Why ?

(4) His photo in Samadhi which was helping seekers to go deeper within is removed, Why ?

(5) His flowers ( bones & ashes ) are still in ChuangTzu & it is his Samadhi. Now not to call it a Samadhi, ? Why

 

Osho is world renowned enlightend mystic of this century. His Samadhi is the most sacred energy field for his disciples and lovers. It is to be preserved with love and reverence. It is Osho Samadhi and should be and must be called Osho Samadhi. A Samadhi is a Samadhi is a Samadhi.

Osho Friends, Pune Important Announcements June 2012 With the feeling that all of Osho’s sannyasins and friends around the world are, as always, sharing the Master’s love and blessings…this letter is written. The time has come to make some important announcements. All efforts up till now to settle our differences wit...h the present trustees and administrators of the Osho Ashram, Pune – now branded as Osho International Meditation Resort – are failing. You can view the details of these several court cases on the website wwwdotoshoworkdotorg The present administrators consist of: the management team and the trustees who are being controlled by Mr. Michael O'Byrne (Byrne) alias Swami Jayesh, Dr. John Andrews alias George Meredith alias Swami Prem Amrito, Mr. Darcy O'Byrne (Byrne) alias Swami Yogendra and Mukesh Sarda alias Swami Mukesh Bharti. Our hope is that Osho’s work and this place shall soon flourish again with the presence of thousands of friends, all sharing in the Master’s energy. We would very much like to rejuvenate the meditation programs and those of Osho Multiversity, which has almost closed down. We look forward to greater participation of the present administrators in coming times. Rather than staying alienated from each other, we know; we could co-operatively work together to jointly produce a better scheme for how this place could be run more openly and efficiently. As part of our fundamental manifesto, we propose that: A - It is each and every Osho sannyasins’ right to visit Osho's Samadhi and meditation places in the Ashram in Pune at reasonable entry fees. Inasmuch as, the present administrators have taken charge of Osho’s legacy, it is one of their obligations to fulfil this. If the present administrators are not willing or able to realize Osho's dream – then they should bow out gracefully and leave it to those who will! If they choose to continue to play power games, then the court of law will replace them in due course. B- The trustees and administrators should always remember that they are not the owners of Osho’s legacy; rather they are only its custodians. Any conspiracy to damage Osho’s work, vision and legacy shall not be tolerated. This is to inform all our friends that if our extensive efforts to resolve differences amicably fail, then it is very important to understand what the consequences, which could take place in due course, could be. It is anticipated that: 1. A government appointed committee may investigate into all the matters related to Osho International Foundation (in India and abroad), Neo Sannyas Foundation, Osho Media International, Osho Multimedia and Resorts Private Limited and other such organisations. Their investigations will be slow, steady and accountable. 2. The government may appoint a custodian or a committee to watch the trust matters and financial activities on a daily basis. How unfortunate!: Osho’s disciples and fellow travellers would be governed by the people who have no idea of Osho’s words and silence! 3. Inquiries may take place into Osho’s intellectual property/ copyrights. 4. Inquiries may take place into how the trustees, including Osho’s Inner Circle members (past and present), the management teams and directors of the said organisations are involved in manipulating Osho's legacy. 5. Inquiries may take place into the whereabouts of Osho’s personal belongings, such as his library, his historical documents, the original master copies of his discourses and articles and his paintings and other such personal items. These inquires may include the need to know how these items are handled and by whom. 6. The investigations may lead to much more, which could go way beyond the scope of these predictions. Therefore, we suggest (and would prefer) that: • All parties concerned meet to resolve these matters congenially and wholeheartedly at home, at the earliest. All sannyasins and Osho lovers should ask, write and demand to the present administrators of the said organisations to take urgent steps in the right direction and produce fruitful results. If they fail to settle these matters amicably then only they – the present administrators, trustees and their co-conspirators – will be responsible for any of the above anticipated degradations as and when it occurs. Nobody wants this to happen! Let's all hope that that day will come soon and that we can all enjoy the Master's blessings and be able to meditate and celebrate together again under one roof! La auténtica gratitud nunca puede encontrar palabras para expresarse a sí misma. La gratitud que encuentra palabras para expresarse es solo una formalidad –porque todo aquello que es sentido con el corazón, inmediatamente va más allá de las palabras, de los conceptos, del lenguaje. Puedes vivirlo, puede brillar en tus ojos, puede emanar como una fragancia por todo tu ser. Puede ser la música de tu silencio, pero no puedes expresarlo. En el momento en que lo pronuncies, algo esencial muere inmediatamente. Las palabras solamente pueden transportar cadáveres, no experiencias vivas.

La gratitud no tiene un objetivo externo ni tampoco interno. La gratitud es casi como la fragancia que desprende una flor. Es una experiencia que no está dirigida a nadie. Cuando llegas hasta el mismo origen de tu ser donde te sientes completamente como en primavera y las flores llueven sobre ti, de pronto sientes una gratitud que no está dirigida a nadie, exactamente como una fragancia que sale de ti, justo como el incienso desprendiendo nubes de humo y fragancia hacia un cielo desconocido y desapareciendo después.
Para mí, la gratitud es la mayor experiencia que puedes tener –no hacia Dios, no hacia nadie en particular... simplemente gratitud hacia toda esta existencia. Estos pájaros, estos bellos árboles, toda esta existencia es tan hermosa que no sentir gratitud hacia ella es permanecer ciego, ignorante, inconsciente. Este universo es tu hogar. Procedes de este universo y regresas de vuelta a él. La plegaria carece de sentido. Únicamente la gratitud…, ni siquiera tienes que emplear la palabra, simplemente el sentimiento de gratitud.
